Hi, I’m Ever, a travel enthusiast from Strasbourg, a French city right on the border with Germany. I was fortunate to travel to various countries from a young age, and that early exposure to different cultures ignited my lifelong passion for exploring the world. Travel has always been more than just a hobby for me: it’s a way to connect with people and experience life from new perspectives.
In 2023, I moved to Edinburgh to finish my undergraduate degree in foreign languages at the University of Edinburgh, and a year later, I moved to Dublin to pursue a master’s in Tourism Management, which I’m currently completing. Living in different countries has only deepened my love for travel and given me a better understanding of what makes tourism so fascinating. Along the way, I’ve been exploring as much of the British Isles as possible, from the rugged Scottish Highlands to the charming Irish countryside.
What first drew me to the British Isles were the things most people imagine: the rugged cliffs, the ancient castles, the winding country roads… But over time, I started to fall in love with the everyday details too. I grew fond of the rows of red-brick houses with bow windows at sunset, the endless variety of regional accents (especially Scouse, which I’m slightly obsessed with), the familiar comfort of a cup of PG Tips, and of course, Greggs sausage rolls (dangerously addictive). These small things, just as much as the landscapes and landmarks, made me feel at home, and they’re a big part of why I care so much about this place.
This blog is my way of sharing those experiences: the hidden gems, the must-see spots and the little moments that make each journey special. Whether you’re a seasoned explorer or just looking for inspiration for your next trip, I hope you find something here that resonates with you. Let’s go on this adventure together!
